Sindhi cricketer Habibullah Shaikh was forced to do labor due to financial crisis after he was unable to find place in the Pakistan’s national cricket team. From 1947 till today not a single  Sindhi player has played for Pakistan at international level, while only one Sindhi speaking player Shahid Qambrani of Hyderabad region was able to play one match against West Indies in Pakistan-A team. Habibullah Shaikh represented Larkana division and scored centuries for his team in Quaid-i-Azam Trophy, which is considered to be the highest domestic platform for cricketers and they are selected in the national team on the basis of their performances in Quaid-i-Azam trophy. The CEO of Naon Niapo Academy, Karachi, Sindh, Inam Sindhi staged a protest outside Karachi Press Club for continuous 13th day here on Sunday demanding immediate release of missing persons and to stop increasing religious extremism in Sindh.  He also carried banner that read immediately release missing persons of Sindh, while pictures of Dr. Arfana Mallah and Professor Sajjid Sommro were also pasted on it, both of them came under threats from religious extremists and were accused of blasphemy few days back. A recent report by women’s rights group has claimed that there are more than 10 million ladies in Pakistan, who are unable to get married due to different reasons causing different psychological and social problems among those women. The report claimed that those ladies, who were unable to get married, fell in the age groups from 20 to 35 years, and there were one million ladies who had crossed the age of marriage and were unable to find a suitable groom. Furthermore it was mentioned in the report that due to that those ladies were facing various social and psychological issues, while their health was being also affected due to that. Those ladies were facing anxiety, sexual frustration, depression and other behavioral disorders, while they became very much angry even on small things and reacted furiously, claimed the report. Family and friends fulfilled the unique will of Sindhi nationalist and historian Mr. Atta Mohammad Bhanbhro by putting chains on his grave to show that he died in slavery. Earlier today Mr. Bhanbhro was buried in the local graveyard and his grave was chained. Mr. Bhanbhro was a writer, historian, linguistic and translator and a political activist, during his writing career he translated more than three hundred books into Sindhi language on subjects including linguistics, history, religion and geography related to Sindh. Yesterday, at the age of 87, Mr. Bhanbhro died due to cardiac arrest at his native village. Among other works deciphering certain tablets of the script of Mohanjo Daro was considered his unique work. Famous Urdu translator, writer and founder of Karachi Literature Festival (KLF) Dr. Asif Farrukhi passed away at the age of 61 at Karachi, today. Dr. Asif was a medical doctor by profession as well as a renowned writer and critic of Urdu Language. Dr. Farrukhi was born at Karachi in 1959; he got his early education from St. Patrick’s High School, Karachi and got admission in Dow Medical Karachi. He translated books from English into  Urdu . He has edited and compiled  anthologies  of Pakistani writers.  Dr. Farrukhi has published six collections of short stories and two collections of literary criticisms. He also edited and published a literary miscellany in Urdu called "Duniyazad". In 1995 he received the Prime Minister's award for literature. In 2005 he was awarded the  Tamgha-e-Imtiaz  by the  President of Pakistan .
