Protest Campaign Against Bogus Domicile Holders In Sindh Starts



The academicians, writers and students of Sindh have started a protest campaign against the allotment of bogus documents to illegal settlers in Sindh. It has been claimed that the local government from years has issued fake domiciles to settlers of Afghanistan, Khyber Phaktunkwa (KPK) and Punjab, and termed it a serious conspiracy against the native people. It was also claimed that the people of Sindh were being denied their right of getting governmental jobs and admissions in public institutions due to those bogus domiciles.   

In this regard a trend on twitter is going on that has reached top trends of the day #SindhRejectsBogusDomiciles   in which the users are sharing information regarding fake domicile holders, WiseSindh is sharing information regarding few of them here:


1-       Navid s/o Abdul Rashid, belongs to Haripur city of KPK province, he got a bogus domicile of Karachi West, and he has appeared in competitive exams in both provinces (Sindh and KPK) on two different domiciles.


2-      Mr. Raheel s/o Sam Sam Ali belongs to Chitral but became a Judge in Karachi on bogus domicile of Karachi, Sindh, while his sister Dr. Iqra d/o Sam Sam Ali took admission in medical college of Karachi on Karachi domicile, and she is now serving as Dental Surgeon in KPK on domicile of KPK.


3-       Haq Nawaz s/o Hazrat Khalil originally belongs to Swat Valley of KPK appeared in Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) on fake domicile of Karachi West, while he also appeared in KPK Public Service Commission.

Activist and President of Sindh Sujuggi Forum, Mr. Sarang Joyo has claimed that there are thousands of people possessing fake domiciles of Sindh province, and stealing rights of native people of Sindh.

While renowned novelists, writers and journalists including Akbar Soomro, Dr. Mubarak Lashari, Shoukat Zardari and others have condemned this act and urged the people of Sindh to take active part in the campaign against bogus domicile holders.
