Indus Valley Civilization: Aryan And Dravidian Hypothesis

Ruk Sindhi is a well-known Sindhi journalist, researcher and historian, he was born on 05 August 1961 in Nawabshah district, his full name is Ghulam Ashgar Mangi but is better known with his pseudonym "Ruk Sindhi".

He did his graduation from University of Sindh, Jamshoro and from 30 years he has worked as a professional journalist. He was editor of Daily Sujag, Daily Jagoo, he was also associated with Daily Awami Awaz, Daily Soobh and several other Sindhi dailies. He has authored many books on history of Sindh.

His book "Sindhu Sabhita: Aryan Ain Drawaran (Dravidian) Waro Mafrozo" (Indus Civilization: Aryan And Dravidian Hypothesis) study into division of Aryan and Dravidian has been published in 2019, by Sindh Salamat Kitab Ghar, and is spread over 120 pages and contains 22 sub-topics.

In this book Ruk Sindhi has claimed that British historians and archaeologists under a serious conspiracy gave the concept of Aryans invading the sub-continent, so that their vested interests could be gained through this divide and rule policy.

This baseless theory of Aryans invading sub-continent still is playing its role in dividing natives culturally, ethnically, politically and socially.

In this book the author has tried to reject this theory on scientific grounds, while he has claimed that his research is based on modern archaeological, anthropological and evidences collected from DNA samples.

It is claimed in this book that the concocted theory that Aryans invaded the sub-continent was first given by a German scholar named Max Muller (1823-1900) in 1853, the base of Muller that theory were Vedas (the holy scriptures of Hinduism), while he also claimed that there were many similarities in Aryan and European languages.

All these points are discussed in detail in this book, but whether this book would be appreciated by the critics and historians who go on with the account that Aryans invaded the sub-continent.
