As Many As 713 Sindhi Novels Have Been Published Till 2019: Mumtaz Bukhari

Famous Sindhi journalist and writer Mumtaz Bukhari has said it took three years to complete his study on Sindhi novels and finally it had got published in 2020 by Sindhica publishers.   He said that he visited different libraries including Sindh Archives and Institute of Sindhology, to collect reference material and hoped that the book would open new dimensions as far as research on Sindhi novels is concerned. Mr. Bukhari claimed that he has included Sindhi novels published before and after partition, while Sindhi novels being published in Sindh, India, England, America and Singapore were also included in different chapters of the book. Renowned Pakistani politician from Sindh Ms. Sharmila Faruqi has shared her review on New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover’s novel “It ends with us” on her official twitter handle @sharmilafaruqi. Colleen Hoover is best known for adult fiction writing and this particular novel reviewed by Ms. Faruqi was published in 2016. The novel deals with issue of domestic violence against women in American society, however, the novel has received mixed reviews so far. The place in which Buddhist monks live as community is known as monastery, or mith, they are also called Samna or Samgha. There are as many as 227 disciplinary rules to live in Buddhist Monastery.
