The Makers of Modern Karachi



Karachi is Historical City of Sindh which was built in 1729 by a famous business man Bhojomal who was from famous city of Sindh Sehwan, he constructed Kharadar in 1729 & introduced and included a new Port with historical ports of Sindh, Debal Bunder, Ketibunder, Kharochan & Shahbunder.

These Sindhi leaders are Makers Of Modern Karachi.

1. G.M. Syed. (President District Local Board Karachi 1928 - 1933.) he was also founder of Pakistan who passed resolution of Pakistan from Sindh Assembly in 1945 

2. Jamshed Mehta. (First Mayor of Karachi 1920 - 1933.) He was also founder member of Sindh Haari Tehreek.

3. Hirchand Rai Bharvani. (President Karachi Municipal Committee 1911 - 1921).

In history Karachi was village of Mai Kolachi/Marearo Mirbehr and it was also Kachhi Abadi of Bhanbhore city of Sindh & Indus Delta of Sindhu River.

Few Tales of Watayo Faqeer

Sense of humor has an important place in every culture and society.
