Harry Potter Fan Theory: Lord Voldemort Is Hitler
Renowned British novelist J K Rowling's Harry Potter series has ruled over the literary circles now for two decades as the first novel of this famous series Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone came out in 1997, and was followed by six other novels to complete the series, the other novels include Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets (1998), Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azakban (1999), Harry Potter and the goblet of fire (2000), Harry Potter and the order of phoenix (2003), Harry Potter and the half blood prince (2005) and Harry Potter and the deathly hallows (2007). All these novels were adopted as films by Warner Bros. and directed by David Yates.
Ever since the novels have published they have gone through many fan theories, while the protagonist Harry Potter and the antagonist Lord Voldemort (the Dark Lord and He who must not be named) have became the most famous fantasy characters of last two decades.
Voldemort's obsession with blood purity signifies his aim to rid the wizarding world of Muggle (non-magical) heritage and to conquer both worlds, Muggle and wizarding, to achieve pure-blood dominance. Through his mother's family, he is the last descendant of wizard Salazar Slytherin, one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is the leader of the Death Eaters, a group of evil wizards and witches dedicated to ridding the Wizarding World of Muggles and establishing Voldemort as its supreme ruler.
Voldemort's hatred for muggles increased when his father Tom Riddle, who happened to be a muggle left his pregnant mother and never returned, since Voldemort's mother used to give Tom Riddle love potion, which helped her to become pregnant and she stopped giving Tom the love potion thinking he would start loving her, but Tom Riddle left. This brought fury to Voldemort and he started hating the muggles. He was born in 1922 and died in 1998, during Hogwarts' second battle by Harry Potter.
Voldemort using the dark magic created seven horcruxes, each containing piece of his soul, so that he could live forever, those horcruxes were: Tom Riddle's diary, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, Helga Hufflepuff's cup, Salazar Slytherin's locket, Nagini the snake, Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem and Harry Potter.
Lord Voldemort has become most fascinating antagonist of recent times, there have been many fan theories about him, such as: both Harry and Voldemort's wands were twin containing feathers of same phoenix or their wands had phoenix core, Voldemort and Dumbledore both were air of Slytherin, Voldemort would take Harry's shape using polyjuice to kill Dumbledore and the dark lord feared death the most.
However, there are people on internet who have started connecting fantasy character Voldemort with real life character Adolf Hitler. Here are some interesting similarities among the two according to fan theory:
(i) Hitler was involved in two world wars, and Voldemort involved in two Hogwarts battles.
(ii) Hitler considered Germans pure blood and believed only Germans had right to rule the world, Voldemort also believed in pure magical blood and believed they had the only right to rule the magical world.
(iii) Hitler hated the Jews and wanted to annihilate them from the world, so did Voldemort hated muggles (non-magical beings) and wanted to annihilate them.
(iv) Hitler's army marched across Europe destroying it, Voldemort's army marched to Hogwarts destroying it.
(v) Both Hitler and Voldemort were ignored in their childhood and suffered humiliations.
