The local administration of Jamshoro has claimed that 80% rain water has been removed from Jamshoro Town, while remaining 20% would be removed as soon as possible.

It was claimed by the officials that the administration closed KB Feder at Karachi Wah and opened Chadan Mori Gate and threw the rain water in Karachi Wah, which helped to save from any loss of property or lives at Jamshoro Town, while the administration was engaged in removing remaining rain water from the town, the officials told press.

They further claimed that as many as six new generators were installed in the town to remove the rain water, while ten generators were already working, due to heavy rain the streets, bazaars and houses were effected few days back but the local administration taking its full responsibility came out for immediate rescue of the residents.

The officials also claimed that Jamshoro Town was a densely populated area and it was impossible for the administration to remove water from every house within one day. It was also claimed that the administration was collecting data of rain effected residents in Jamshoro Town so they could be compensated.

During the monsoon rain that started from 28 July, Jamshoro Town was badly effected while walls of houses fell down and all the streets and roads were filled up with remain water that turned the life of residents into misery.
