Netflex Announces Release Date Of Sacred Games 2


Netflex has announced the release date of India's first ever Original web-series Sacred Games Sesson-2 staring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pinkaj Tripatti and Kalki Koechlin. The second series would be released on 15th August 2019.

In this regards Netflex has also released an official, which has already been a sensation on social media, while the show's first season has remained on top of the charts and has been consider one of India's top five web-series.

Sacred Games is based upon Vikram Chandra's novel with the same title published in 2006, and it was directed by Anurag Kashup and Vikram Motwane.

The story revolves around a cop and a Mumbai based gangster, Sartaj Singh  is a troubled police officer in Mumbai who receives a phone call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde,  telling him to save the city within 25 days, and the events that follow.

However Radika Apte was also among lead cast in first season, but from the trailer of second season it is seems that fans would see new faces including Pinkaj Tripatti, Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey. The first season was based upon eight episodes in which Gaitonde narrated his story of becoming a gangster of Mumbai.
